Our Single Origin Coffee Selection

I love single-origin coffee because it gives you a direct connection to the farm, the varietal, the process, and most importantly, the taste. Every coffee in this collection has been chosen because it offers something distinct and exceptional on its own.

From the bold chocolate & nut punch of our Colombia La Laguna, to the spicy biscuit-like richness of the Ethiopia Mocha Djimma, these beans don’t hide behind blends, they show off. And if you haven’t tried the Bakewell Tart Peru yet, trust me, it’s one of those where you take a sip and go, “Wait… is that actually Bakewell tart?”

I’ve also made sure each of these works across a variety of brew methods. I tested them myself with various brew methods, including espresso, pour-over, and Aeropress. Whatever gear you use, you’ll be able to coax some cracking flavour out of these beans.

Happy brewing,

Kev

Single Origin Coffee FAQs

Q: What does ‘single origin’ mean?

A: It means the beans come from one specific country or even a single farm or co-op, offering more traceability and unique flavour profiles than blends.

Q: Are these beans good for espresso?

A: It depends. If you're into "classic" espresso, then some of the single origins are well-suited: Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Brazil, Choc & Nut Colombia, Millionaire's Shortbread & Dark Chocolate Sumatra Mandheling. If you're a light-to-medium roast espresso enthusiast, then all of our single origins are fair game.

Q: Can I buy these pre-ground?

A: Absolutely. To keep it fresh, we’ll grind it for your preferred brew method right before dispatch.

Q: Are these beans freshly roasted?

A: Yes, I make sure all our beans are roasted fresh, usually within a few days of dispatch. You’ll get peak flavour, not old stock.
