Espresso-Ready Roasts
Espresso is all about balance, body, and boldness. This doesn’t mean all espresso has to taste the same. Our blends, such as Classic Italian, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Fondant, and Fruitcake Blend, are blended and roasted with espresso in mind. Still, medium/dark roast single origins like Millionaire's Shortbread, Dark Chocolate Sumatra Mandheling, and Choc & Nut Colombia are stonking as espresso.
If you’re grinding at home using an espresso-capable grinder, you're in control. If you're using a pressurised basket espresso machine (De'Longhi Dedica, Swan Retro, Casabrews CM5418, De'Longhi Stilosa 260) and don’t have a coffee grinder, choose "Espresso – Dual Walled Baskets" at checkout, and we'll grind for you just before dispatching.

Q: Do I need espresso-specific beans?
A: Not necessarily, but our espresso blends are crafted for ease of use, optimum flavour, and crema.
Q: What if I don’t have a grinder?
A: We’ll grind it for espresso (for dual walled baskets), just select that option when ordering. Please note that it’s not possible to pre-grind for traditional espresso baskets, as all coffees and machines will require a different grind size, which requires the user to “dial in” the grind.
Q: Are these beans oily?
A: Nope, we avoid dark, oily roasts that clog grinders. Our espresso blends are medium-dark and burr-friendly.
