Smooth bodied coffee, notes of melon and toffee and subtle spicy background notes.

This is a lovely Ethiopian coffee with a stunning aroma and a very satisfying taste, a great one to try if you love V60 and/or other pourover methods or inverted Aeropress.

How it Tastes

This coffee has a delightful, characteristically Ethiopian natural processed aroma, in fact, taking in the aroma of these beans is almost as enjoyable as drinking it!

I say "almost" as the taste is even more enjoyable, the most obvious taste notes being melon and toffee, with some subtle spicy background notes.

The Bulechala co-operative

This coffee is grown in the Lekempte region, to the West of Ethiopia, by the Bulechala co-operative, a co-op of over two thousand smallholders covering an area of approx. 1,600 hectares (around 4,000 acres) of classic Ethiopian Heirloom varietals.

Another yummy blend.

We buy all our coffees (both beans and ground) from the CoffeeWorks and we rate earns record each one for our records so we know what ones to order again. The Melon & Toffee Ethiopia is one of our favourites, it’s got a lot of flavour and is smooth and aromatic - it’s a very nice coffee.

Quite sweet not overly though. Very drinkable and very moreish and at this price Kev will struggle to get new boxers for Xmas. Joking aside very very drinkable .
