Well, we (I) just ordered our 2nd 1Kg bag of this. This batch was "slightly" lighter in roast than last months, but the Mrs first words were, did you change the bean type again, 'cos this is DELICIOUS! Closely followed by, the last one was lovely but this is smoother.
My reply left her glassy eyed and listless, as I Kevslplained (no it's NOT A SLUR) the reasons for this and adding that she's been drinking store bought for a week because I forgot to order a week or so too late and her tongue is destroyed - tastebudswise.
As an aside, the DF50 grinder is a great recommendation and pairs easily with this bean, thank you Kev!
I think my only minigrumble, a mumble if you will, is that a 500g offering would be epic, as the Atmos holds exactly that, and 250 is too little so now i Need two! (yay!, more coffee stuff!)
Value for money, in fact even at a higher price it would be too, (but let's not get greedy now). This is awesome coffee, expertly roasted and tastes amazing, even albeit on my (modded) Dedica, (i still can't take the punt on a proper machine, i always play the "what's next game?", and I bet i'm not the only one; you know who you are). It really is a lovely blend.
Tastes, smooth, chocolate and sweetness in espresso, and makes an even smoother satisfying milk drink.
Ordering is straight forwards, and The Royal Mail, are... The Royal Mail; they're hit and miss, we are on 50-50 late vs on time delivery. But WORTH THE WAIT, especially when you forgot to order earlier, I'll take it on the chin.
Keep up the good works, C-works, I may try other blends, but then again, I probably won't, Because I make NZ style flat whites, (that's all i drink, sad old stuck in a rut me), and this stuff sings at that. Bravo!
